Our Educator
Welcome! I am so glad you are here.
Navigating the transition into adolescence is one of the most beautiful, pivotal, and sometimes daunting chapters in a family’s journey. As a parent, you want your child to understand the profound changes happening in their body with clarity, confidence, and reverence. As a clinician and an educator, my mission is to bridge the gap between rigorous biological science and the sacred dignity of the human person.
Nicole Martinez, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, ENP-C, FAANP
With more than two decades of experience spanning advanced practice nursing, higher education, and emergency care, Dr. Nicole Martinez has dedicated her career to understanding the human body, caring for people in vulnerable moments, and helping others make sense of complex health information. As a doctorally prepared, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Martinez has spent more than 20 years caring for patients in the Emergency Department, where clear communication, clinical expertise, and a calm, compassionate presence are essential.
She brings that same reassuring approach to her work with young people and families. As a university educator and PhD-prepared nurse, she has spent two decades teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals, developing a passion for translating complex science into information that is engaging, understandable, and age-appropriate.
Through Anchored Youth Education, Dr. Martinez brings together her clinical expertise, teaching experience, and whole-person approach to help young people understand the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of growing up. Her perspective is informed by faith and a deep belief in the inherent dignity and worth of every person, with the goal of equipping families with accurate information, meaningful conversations, and confidence as they navigate adolescence together.
